Hey all, I found there is a go kart/mini golf place in Destin. It’s close to the house - the house’s address is 253 Snowdrift Road, Miramar Beach and the track is at 1125 Highway 98 Destin, FL which is about 8 miles away.

I’ve already called about group rates. They sell armbands that get you into the park for a 2 hour timeframe. We have to call ahead at least 2 weeks prior to reserve our time. Otherwise, they don’t sell the armbands if you walk up. There’s a minimum of 20 to a group and the armbands come in two different prices:

The $15 per person gives you access to:
• the go kart track (the standard one, NOT the “Wild Woody” or the “Slick” track)
• bumper cars
• bumper boats
• mini golf

The $20 per person gives you access to:
• ALL the go kart tracks (the standard one, the “Wet Willy” and the “Slick” track)
• bumper cars
• bumper boats
• mini golf

We are allowed to mix and match the armbands for our 20 people. You should check out the height and age requirements for each ride online so you can figure out which armband you would want. For example, you cannot drive solo on the Slick track unless you are 16.

I’ll go ahead and offer to organize it – and see if you guys are interested. Just email me back with the following info:
• Name of who’s interested
• Which armband they want
• Which day you think would be best – I’m thinking a weekday would be good – but, I don’t know when all will be there

If you can get it back to me by June 15th, then I can make the reservations for us. We are so excited and I’m buying things left and right for the trip (Jon’s biggest nightmare). Thank god we’re driving – Jon’s having to look for extra cargo carriers!! Ha ha Cheers, Jenny

Well, I made a facebook page for the TRASH Family. I think I invited everyone to "like" the page. If I missed anyone, it certainly was not intentional.

I hope everyone is doing great. I will again be driving to Florida this year. So if you can think of things for me to bring, let me know. Maybe the box of fun. I also plan on stopping at the liquor store before departing. So if you have a favorite drink you would like, let me know and I will pick it up. I hope the truck will at least make it all the way this year.
